Failing from Waldgirmes near Frankfurt A.M. My husbands great great grandfather, Johan Ludwig Caspersen Failing/Feiling) was born February 24th in 1745 in Waldgirmes and been babtism in Waldgirmes February 26th in 1745 in Waldgirmes. His parents was Casper Failing/Feiling born 1717 in Waldgirmes and Anna Catharina Rauber. Johan Ludwig Caspersen Failing/Feiling was a carpenter and he emigrated to Norway where he been married and got a family. He was a very welknown carpenter in Norway and built houses and churches. He lived and died in Egersund, Norway in 1818. We will try to find his family in Waldgirmes, what church he been babtims in, what house in waldigmes he lived in and so on...... We will visit Waldgirmes in May and hope that some can help us with some information about the church, house where he was born, his parents and much more.....
