I have traced my Hoover ancestors to New York state Niagara County in the area of Lockport and Royalton. I believe my 5th Great Grandfather John Hoover died before 1850 in this area but can find not record. His wife's name was Mary and he had children named Henry, Elizabeth, John, George, David, Samuel, Mary, Solomon, and William. Most of them were living in the area in 1850 according to the census records. Any help will be greatly appreciated. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
