I'm looking for information about my great-great-great grandfather Leonard Saxton, born in 1745. He was a farmer in Silver Spring Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. I have some unverified information that later in life he lived with a son William in Lewistown, PA, where he died. I'm suspect about his date of birth. I'm thinking that perhaps "1745" was at some time erroneously copied and that "1775" or "1795" may be a more logical date of his birth. Either of the later dates would fit with information I have.
