I am trying to find ANYONE who knew Janice Messner back in 1952-52 in Valley City. She is my birth mother and gave me to her parents and never told me who my father was. Living in such a small community, an out of wedlock birth or "tryst" with an older or married man would be known by SOMEONE.... PLEASE, can anyone help me find my biological father??? I am only trying to learn more of who I am, where ALL of my family comes from, nothing more. It would be wonderful and a fulfillment of a childish dream to meet him face to face one day but having grown up in the world of reality and not Neverland, I know that is more fairy tale than possible as we both grow older each passing moment, if he is even still alive and too I realize that IF he knew about me, he probably didn't want to be around but the small hope continues that IF he did, he just wasn't allowed to know or be with me. The other dream is he didn't know anything at all about me and would be happy to meet me. My adoption was done through the courts when I was 9--talk about a kick in the gut. To find out that "MOM and DAD" are really GRANDMOTHER and GRANDFATHER but will legally become mom and dad when the papers are signed. I have had no shock to equal that one in my life and don't wish to unless it were to be the finding of my father. I have no name to go on that I trust simply because I think it was one picked at random. IF there were or had been a RAY WOLF who knew Janice Messner, please let me know...... All I'm looking to do is find the rest of my family geneology as stated prior. I have no wish to intrude on anyone's life nor be a bother, only to fill the huge void I have lived with these past 45 years.
